Our History
In 1963, Horst purchased Maria's Swedish Diner from Maria Kald. Working 6 days a week, split shifts, his Day included the preparation of special family recipes like sauerbraten, preparing the food on the line (schnitzels), seating guests and closign the restarant - he showed a determination and drive for success.
In 1965, Horst changed Maria's to the Rheinlander German Restaurant; he added a new sign and updated the dining rooms.
Photographs of the front of the restaurant, and interior photographs including the Bier Stube and the Alpine Room.
